The Peggy Wood Scholarship Pageant is a long-running tradition of the annual Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival that provides scholarship opportunities to students in the Canal Winchester School District. Pageant contestants are divided between four age groups, with each contestant judged on poise, stage presence, public speaking ability, and leadership skills. Participants model both sportswear and formal attire, with contestants in grades 6 through 12 also being scored on an interview with pageant judges.
All entry forms must be postmarked by July 30, 2013. The 2013 Peggy Wood Scholarship Pageant will take place on Saturday, September 1, with winners announced at the end of each session.
